Replacement Software Disk A user defined test setup which can only be used together with NEXYGEN. This transforms the materials testing machine into a custom controlled testing frame. A small amount of simple programming is required to fully utilise the power and flexibility of the program. The programmimg language is Microsoft VB Script and this is supplied wbuith the Ondio setup. The tests can be Tension, Compression, cycling to load or extension limits, constant load holding (creep) or relaxation. The tests can be combined to give a multistage testing feature and the software is further enhanced by user defined Formulae and terminating instructions. The software provides extensive pre-conditioning facilities and allows a Datum point to be established making it particularly suited to applications such assprings, Foams, packaging etc. The multistage function is a unique feature which allows a sequence of test stages to be pre-selected and compiled to form a complex test procedure to meet the increasing demandsof National and International specifications. The program is complemented by a marker facility which allows any point in a graph to be saved and used in formulae as well as zoom facilities to expand relevantsections of the graph. NOTE: This program is only for an LF500, TA500, LRX or and LR series fitted with EPROM's version V6 or later. It is not suitable for an Orange L Series machine or an early LR Series machine with EPROM's V4.5 or V5. It is recommended that computers are ordered from Lloyd Instruments Ltd so that the software can be preloaded onto the hard disk. The complete system will then be tested before despatch to ensure that there are no compatibility problems between the software and the computer hardware.
